| Allen bought me roses just because. I love Allen. I am so blessed. all the ladies called me "Miss America" cause I was carrying my roses around and smelling them. and they said their husbands are getting it tonight. cause they never buy roses anymore.

| I have to say this. its not aimed at ANYONE, its just an outpouring of my soul on this new year.
As this new year begins, I feel like everyones given up on my
wedding. I almost want to give up on my wedding, a future as a
family. I feel very stuck where I am. helpless to move or get out. I
have prayed for months, so hard for God to show me ANY opportunity to
get out of this detestable position we are in, to just let us be a
family like any other normal family. to have our own home. our own
life. but he has answered my prayers with whispers of not yet. he has
blessed us with loving families and homes that are harboring us for
now. but I can't help but long to stop imposing on them and live a
life of our own. I know our wedding is not a no, how can it be a no? I
know its God's will for us to be a family. the question is when. I am
ready to give up on my wedding, but I am still desperately clinging to
a few shreds of hope. please please cling with me. I am tired of
being surrounded by people and yet so alone in my hopes and dreams. we need some prayer, we need some support. I am tired of choking it down and saying we're fine. because this is not fine. this is not how God made a family to work. we need to be joined as a family soon. damn the government for standing in the way. the same for those costly health insurance companies grubbing for money.
on a better note I will copy Lishi, Allen and my ten top memories of '06 from 1 being AWESOME! 10 being cool.
10. throwing eggs down the hill at Easter
9. my parents reaction to a baby after the intial one ( mom: I can't believe you're pregnant!! how are you feeling? do you need to eat? here sit down!!)
8. Allen's parents reaction. his mom: yeah I know you're pregnant.
7. the first ultrasound, seeing that tiny baby.
6. every subsequent ultrasound
5. all those huge kicks!!
4. the car show, squeezing into that tiny jeep with Allen and all his brothers, throwing apples down from the top of the car garage in Philly and surviving on slim jims entirely.
3. going into the mens bathroom at the car show. allen's dad as I come out to the five men lining up: you can't go in there, there's a woman in there going pee, the women's bathroom is closed for cleaning. men: grumbling.
2. Allen's near arrest for pot possession on the way to Jersey. dogs and every thing, read him his rights etc. frisking, and finally, letting him go because they didn't find anything...
.....................and last but defintely the best!!!

1. Playing Rummy, Having a baby in 3 hours, Eating Pizza and watching a hoe down on TV while she slept afterwards. BEST MEMORY OF '06
